Collaborative-teaching (co-teaching) is an instructional arrangement where two or more certified professionals share the responsibility of: - lesson planning (incorporating one or more of the 4 highly effective co-teach models)
- instructing (using the planned co-teach model(s))
- monitoring student progress (through a balanced assessment system)
- adjusting the delivery of instruction based on students' needs/progress
- providing differentiated instruction, interventions, and enrichment
- collecting academic and behavioral data to meet individual student needs for all students.
